Yippee for underwear

The night before last Conall decided that he didn't want a pull-up for bedtime. I asked him if he was sure and got him dressed, knowing that I'd be up at some point due to a wet bed and wet Conall.

I had trouble going to sleep that night anticipating this, and sure enough, just as I dropped off to sleep around 3 a.m. I was awakend by a very wet, cold and very upset Conall. I got him changed and dressed (he insisted on a pull-up once again) and we were back to bed. No more wetting that night.

The next day (yesterday) he kept telling me he was sorry, although I told him it was ok and just an accident. He wanted a pair of underwear again last night at bedtime instead of a pull-up. Before I went to bed, I prepared a fresh set of sheets and comforter where I could easily get to them in the middle of the night. But, he didn't wake me up (Caitlin did, what do they say, no rest for the wicked? meaning me). He didn't wet the bed or his clothes or anything!

I am so proud of my big boy. All day long, we've been praising him for this. He is so excited! Mention it to Conall next time you see or talk to him and help us encourage this new behavior.
