What Happened to Child Resistant Lids?

Oh yeah, they aren't Conall-resistant are they?
Caitlin has been super fussy all day -- not at all like her self. At one point I saw her chewing on something, noticed how much she was drooling, assumed it was from teething, and gave her some Tylenol. Enter the children's Tylenol container sitting on our kitchen table, which in the midst of trying to calm Caitlin down, I forgot was there. At dinner time, daddy was napping on the couch, Caitlin was in the high chair and Conall was at the table waiting on me to clean two strawberries and cut the tops off (just two!). He said something that triggered my radar. I came running into the room because he had grabbed the bottle, opened it, and drank some of it. After my freaking out, he told me it was two lids worth -- which I measured to be roughly 1/2 tsp., which is less than his normal dose would be. He got a long lecture about medicine, etc. and I thanked his very busy guardian angel for taking care of him.
But seriously, aren't those d*** things supposed to be child-proof? I even sometimes have trouble opening the lid.
