The Construction

As most of you know, the gas company has decided to move our gas meter from the back yard to the front. They also dug up our gas lines and replaced them. Conall has found all of this fascinating.

In the process, they've dug up part of our driveway, which they replaced this afternoon. Conall was trying to watch from the front window. I figured that there aren't many chances for a kid to see a cement-mixer truck (sorry if I got the name wrong Aunt Amy) in his driveway, so we headed out front to watch. The only condition was that Conall stay next to me on the sidewalk. Although it was hot and we were in the sun, both kids were fascinated and stayed in one place. Here are the photos.
