Caitlin's Headbands

We've all been on a search for anything Caitlin will leave in her hair. She grabs my headbands, even when they are in my hair, and puts them on her own head. So, we've been looking for headbands that will fit her head. NaNa brought her a stack of them the other day. This is how she wore them.

Another Tiara Headband

Grandma bought Caitlin another tiara/headband. Of course, she loves it!

It is so ironic that one child can be so girly and such a tomboy at the same time. My mom says she gets this from my grandmother (my namesake and the namesake for Caitlin's middle name) who mom says was quite the tomboy growing up, but who also really liked girly stuff, too.

Caitlin's Headband

Caitlin keeps grabbing my headbands and putting them on her own head. They are about the only thing she'll put on her head willingly and leave there. Here's a photo of her coloring at the table with my headband on.

Caitlin the Martian

Caitlin grabbed this headband from Conall's room and was running around with it on her head. She seems to really like to wear headbands.

While Caitlin paused to look at a book I got a photo of her with it on her head. Soon after, I realized that one side of it was drooping because the spring was broken and it was no longer safe for her to play with. I had to wait on her to take it off, get distracted, and then throw it away. She looked for it for awhile after I took it away. I think we're going to have to get her some "safe" headbands to play with.
