Derby Derby Song

Caitlin was jumping on my bed singing what she called the "Derby Derby" song while Derby, the cat, sat on the end of the bed terrified. She was so cute that I had to video it.

My camera only saves in Quicktime files, which don't allow you to flip the video. My video editing software that does allow you to flip the video slowed everything down so that it looked like she was lip syncing. So, just turn your head sideways to watch -- it is worth it.

The Cats Are Giving High Fives

Conall came running into the living room from our room tonight all excited.
Conall -- Inkspot is killing Derby!
Stu -- What?
Conall -- Yeah, the cats are giving each other high fives!
Stu -- What? (he goes to check to see what our cats are really up to)

I'm in the kitchen making dinner and Conall comes running in:
Conall -- Inkspot, Derby and Daisy are giving each other high fives.
Me -- Well, that's really cool Conall. How are they doing that?
Conall -- You know, they are giving each other high fives with their paws.

About this time, Stu comes back from our room laughing. Apparently the cats were having a slap-cat fight over a spot on the bed. Who knew that was giving each other a high five!
