Kitty Friend

When we got to Pop Pop's this weekend, there was still snow on the ground. The kids couldn't wait to play in it, so we let them play while we unloaded the car.

Caitlin immediately found a cat friend and let him in Pop Pop's house. We got the cat back outside and he played with the kids for some time, even climbing a tree to show off.

BTW -- the cat is just playing with Caitlin in the video. He didn't use his claws and was very gentle. You can hear her giggling in the video. The kitty seemed to be familiar with kids and was still pretty young, probably an older kitten. Believe me, if he'd hurt her, Caitlin would have had four people running to check on her (me, daddy, Conall, Pop Pop) and of course, I wouldn't be standing there videotaping it rather than checking on her.

The kids are still talking about playing with the kitty in the snow -- it seems to be quite the memorable experience for them!
