Conall went to a mini photography workshop at school yesterday that was taught by one of the dads who is a professional photographer. We signed him up for the visual art category of the national PTA contest. The dad did the workshop for the kids signed up in this category and took Polaroids of them at the end as a demonstration.
He was really excited about his Polaroid -- I don't think he's ever seen one before. And quite honestly, I think it was a better picture than the school portraits we got back yesterday. I'm pretty sure we're going to have to have a retake -- the expression on his face is so bizarre. I'm wondering how bad the others were if this was the best one. He looks like a cross between an eyebrow-raised Christian Slater and an eyebrow-raised Jack Nicholson. I'm glad we didn't purchase an expensive package.
