Caitlin had her 18 mos. check-up today (I know she's older than that, but she's off schedule from a bad ear infection). We got to see our sweet regular doctor, Dr. McCord, today. Caitlin's weight still isn't great, but they aren't worried and don't want us to be. Most likely, she hasn't gained a lot this time around because of all the trouble she had with the reflux and vomiting. She has gained a little weight, grown a little in height, and her head circumference is also bigger. Developmentally, Caitlin is doing great! She's way ahead on the number of words she knows.
If Caitlin still hasn't gained much by her 2 year check up, then they may run some tests. Until then, I'm to keep giving her the Carnation Instant Breakfast mix and add extra butter, sugar, cream, etc. to her food whenever I can. They want her eating as many high fat foods as possible.
Caitlin also got her flu shot today. She got a Clifford book for her trouble.
