Then, he took me in to see the tooth under his pillow and at first couldn't find it. Conall started to panic, but we soon found it. I explained that it would be best if we put it in a special container (I have one) to put under his pillow so that it didn't fall under the bed or anything before the Tooth Fairy came. Whew!
Conall was so excited and couldn't wait to show his teacher and all of the kids at school. Unfortunately, they weren't as excited as he was -- Conall has a "shark" tooth directly behind the gap where his baby tooth was. Some of the kids teased him and told him he hadn't lost his tooth since there was one already there.
Anyway, Conall is in bed now with the tooth safely in its container under his pillow. We'll see how he does in the morning after the Tooth Fairy's visit.
It is really hard to see -- but this is the best pic we could get -- Conall was so excited he couldn't hold still

such a cutie! did you find out what the going tooth fairy rate is? also, love the new masthead!
Yes -- the most I could find was $5for the first tooth and $1 for the rest. A friend of mine's daughter was one of the last in her class to loose a tooth -- she knew the going rate before she ever lost one!
Was he excited this morning? I can't imagine him even sleeping while waiting for the tooth fairy. I bet he says he heard or saw it!
