Yep, the ear infection never went away. Caitlin now has a new antibiotic, Tylenol with codeine, and numbing ear drops to help her get over it. Hopefully this will take care of it.
I'm also hoping that once the hyperactivity from the codeine (yep, my kids get the paradoxical effect -- lucky us) wears off, she'll sleep well and so will everyone else. I could use a night of uninterrupted sleep!

Poor Caitlin---those darn ear infections are so hard to get rid of. Hopefully, this will take care of it. Did they schedule a re-check when she finishes the antibiotic? It's cute she wanted the Boo Boo Bunny---I guess she thought it might make it better.
They are, aren't they? And the antibiotics are so hard on their little bodies.
No, they didn't schedule a re-check, but her 2 yr. checkup/shots keeps getting bumped back because of it. I'm going to see if we can get in within 2 weeks for it so they can check her ears then. Of course, she now screams when they try to weigh her or take her temperature. It should be fun!
I guess she thought the Boo Boo Bunny would help -- it really was cute. She held it up to her ear for awhile.
