Long Week

Ok, so I thought it had been a long time since I posted last. I was wrong ... it just feels like a long time.

The night before last, Conall woke up every hour. No fever or anything yesterday morning, but he had a sniffly nose last night and was complaining of his throat hurting this morning. Still no fever, though, so I sent him to school.

Yesterday, Caitlin woke up before 7 (highly unusual for her) and was clingy/fussy all day. Yesterday evening, she started grabbing her right ear (same as last time) and crying and saying "want bunny, want kitty." I didn't have a clue -- I thought maybe she was wanting a stuffed animal since we had gone to Build a Bear with grandma that morning.

She did it again later, but this time, Caitlin walked me to the freezer. She wanted her Boo Boo bunny and kitty. I gave them to her and she immediately put them on her right ear. She was up most of last night holding her ear and crying.

She still doesn't have a fever, but Stu and I are going to get her an appointment for this evening at the After Hours Clinic. She just finished her antibiotic a few days ago, so it is likely the ear infection didn't go away completely.

I have cute pictures of her from Build a Bear that I will post soon. My tendinitis is acting up from holding Caitlin so much and it is difficult to type with the pain and numbness.
