Caitlin and I went to the library this morning. As expected, most of the books she picked up had animals in them. I didn't expect her to pick up an equal number of books with vehicles in them. She did.
Caitlin made a beeline for the "40 Years of Hot Wheels" book on display in the adult section and tried to lift if off the shelf. She actually managed to get it off the shelf, but wasn't able to carry it (it was very thick). We had to "read" it before we left, but I discreetly put it away before we checked out -- I didn't want it to come home with us and get torn up.
We checked out an alphabet dog book, two "Charlie and Lola" books (she loves these!), a mouse book and two vehicle books. Caitlin also picked out a two disc set DVD of "Superman and Friends", but I also put it back (she's still a little young for these). You can tell that she is growing up around a big brother and that she has tastes like her Pop Pop and daddy.
